Los Angeles County Superior Court - 70+ years old Stepfather adopted 40 years old Stepson (who is in prison).  In this case the Department of Corrections objected to transporting the Petitioner from prison to the adoption court, so the Judge granted the adoption based on notarized documents I present to the Court granting authorization to proceed pursuant to California Code section 9324.  Time from filing to approved Adoption Decree 120 days due to Court Holiday delays.
