Los Angeles County Superior Court - 41 years old Stepfather adopted 19 years old Stepson.  In this case the Stepson gave a very moving explanation of his love for his Stepfather who, in the Stepson's own words, "taught me how to me a man."  The entire Courtroom was in tears, including yours truly, and even the Judge.  Time from case filing to approved Adoption Decree 80 days.
