Orange County - Stepfather 69 years old adopts two Stepdaughters 49 & 48 years old.  Longtime Stepfather who raised girls from 11&12 years old adopted his two Stepdaughters; one married and living in Utah and one single and living in California.  This case highlights that the California Adult Adoption law allows adult adoption in California Court as long as one of the petitioners (that is the adopting parent or the adoptee) resides in California.  Time from case filing to approved adoption order/decree 90 days.
