Los Angeles County - Husband Uncle/ Wife Aunt adopted 20 year old Niece as their own Daughter. In this case, the Niece had been abandoned after birth and placed with the Aunt right after the Niece was born 20 years ago.  The Aunt/Uncle raised the Niece as their own child and now that the Niece was over 18 years old, all parties wanted to formalize the adoption and make the Parent - Child relationship legal for the rest of the now Daughter's (then Niece's) life.  Time from filing the case to approved Adoption Order under 60 days.  This was very nice case to help these people with!
